We love Olle's! We've been repeat customers for years. Every single time we go, we've had a good experience. Riina and Olle are the absolute sweetest and the food is awesome! If you were to just look at the outside of the restaurant, you might not be 100% sure it it's a restaurant or not, because it looks like the lake clubhouse. Go inside, taste one bite of schnitzel or bratwurst, and you'll be hooked. Be sure to make reservations, especially on the weekend, as business has picked up.

The owner/operator are friendly and lovely...simple comfort food in remote and scenic getaway area.

This is a wonderful place to eat love going there with my wife the dill sauce is the best and the German potato salad is amazing. I go there as often as I can. When I have family come from out of town I make sure we take them to this wonderful establishment to eat a great meal. I have never been to Germany so I do not know what their food is like there but if it is anything like this restaurant I would like to go to Germany and eat..#2thumbsup

One of the highlights of my wife and I returning to Compass lake (where I grew up) is dining at Olle's. Though we haven't met Chef Olle yet, he consistently prepares superb dining options that we enjoy. His wife Riina always greets the guests with a smile and top notch service. Can't wait until our next trip to the lake!

Wonderful people, And amazing food! Ollie and his wife are great people who really take care of their customers and make them feel welcome and taken care of! We met them once before then we went to their restaurant one day for lunch, and I really enjoyed it. The food was so good, and it was my first time trying German cuisine, but I was really glad that I did. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the views of the lake and everything is so relaxing and gorgeous! My husband and I will definitely be back again soon!

This place is amazing. We come down here once a year for an event and make reservations for dinner both nights. The food is fantastic, and the people are delightful.

The food is on point. The house dressing is amazing and the schnitzel is fantastic. The service is impeccable. My husband was unsure what beer to order the waitress asked what he likes and she mad the perfect recommendations.

Great. My husband and I frequent here a lot. always extremly nice, great atmosphere, food is always perfect and hot never waited over 15-20 minutes for our food. Definitely recommend.

We love Ollies... We got at least twice a week and the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful and the service is amazing... the food is wonderful... juicy steaks!!!

Ok, so this place states there food is authentic German food. However everything is fried(not a German thing) and nothing is prepared to completion. To each there own. Good luck, I won't be returning.

I can't say enough good things about Olle's Restaurant. I have now eaten there 4 or 5 times. For me, it is worth the hour drive from Panama City Beach. The husband and wife team prepare and serve fantastic German and American food. Reservations are a must because of the small size of the dining room and staff.Large groups are difficult to manage because everything is made to order, but they have always worked hard to accommodate us, even when we've had 8 or 10 in our group.I love the traditional schnitzel. My wife loves the grilled schnitzel. All of the sides are tasty. The potato leek soup is a good way to begin. The desserts are a good way to end a meal.

Excellent local restaurant with wonderful German food and a great atmosphere

The restaurant overlooks beautiful Compass Lake, but is superseded by the amazing food and supurb wait staff. We celebrated my husband's 80th birthday, he said it was definitely an experience, not just dinner out. We will return as often as possible.

Want the best food in Jackson County? Look no further. By far the nicest eating establishment around. Wish they would stay open year round. I recommend the steak to everyone.
